With this wrench in the machine.

It’s allowing me time to think about my participation in society. 

We all have an offer and a request of the world. 

What is your offer? What is your request? 

Lest we remember the elders are watching. Will we be proud of ourselves when our present moments become tomorrow’s history?

Know, there is light at the end of the tunnel. I am the light passing through it. We are connected and striving to hold each other again. 

And oh how I miss the busy streets of the city. The pleasure of watching people intersecting at cross roads in our beings.

I see us free. Free enough to dance with a stranger and leave with ourselves. I see lives we’ve between and around one another and I know we are in this together.
